Looks like India is about to be banned from YouTube and Twitter.

I hope that this is “the end of the beginning.” I hope that other Asian countries will follow in India’s footsteps and also cautiously green-light ivermectin, and that as their doctors gain experience with it the countries’ caution will diminish.

Isn't this specific to New Delhi? This is not news. AIIMS New Delhi released IVM-based guidelines on April 7.

This is ICMR which is national - the AIIMS New Delhi news was from few days ago.

Check out this comment which has background references:

Wow! I thought that India, like Brazil, could only endorse IVM on a state-by-state basis while the national health authorities had to continue paying lip service to the anti-IVM dogma so as to continue getting WHO funding. What happened? How could they agree to give up the pocket-fattening from that WHO money?

State is a health subject. ICMR is a research coordinator- not a regulator. It infrequently posts guidelines which are usually adopted or taken into consideration by each state with little political resistance because the ICMR is not linked to the current national government.

Why would they recommend giving HCQ without zinc to a population with such a vegetable-heavy diet that vitamin D deficiency is endemic? Zinc coadministration with HCQ seems even more called-for here than on average. Also, the dose of ivermectin is too low, it should be doubled and increased until response is obtained.
