Long covid is complicated, the virus causes a range of issues in the body. There may be viral persistence, immune dysregulation, chronic inflammation, extensive damage, and so on. For some long covid sufferers they say it works well, others not. Given its safety it is worth trying. For brain fog the anecdotes are that Fluvoxamine works better. This isn't medical advice, just relaying what has been said, but I hope you recover soon.
