I knew social-media censorship was a slippery slope when twitter deplatformed Trump. I'm not and never have been a Trump fan, and IMO twitter's deplatforming of Trump was a good thing in that society sort of began to settle down a bit after it happened. Still, I was concerned about the possibility that once that door was opened, it would lead to more censorship, for more reasons. And now that has happened.

I'm still in suspension, I've sent an appeal but not going to remove my tweet (even though it's not visible to others because they've blocked it anyway). I suspected this'll happen and don't care about that account.

I was suspended for 12hrs 2 or 3 days ago for a RT and hashtags that included the "I" word. This is all so discouraging.

Yup. I was never on Twitter and I don't use FB anymore. They are breaking the Freedom of Speech so egregiously.

I'm suspended since last week. Now they want my telephone number to continue, but I will not give it. Tried to make a new account (using a VPN) but after wanting to upload a profile picture I got instantly redirected to add telephone number page. They very like know (hashing?) the content on peoples computers.

Now I bought a burner number but I'm still thinking about if I should continue using Twitter. Tried also to appeal but got denied for spreading misinformation. The funny thing is if you read their guidelines, Twitter themselves are the one who're violating their own rules.
