YouTube will remove videos that indicate chloroquine or ivermectin

April 19, 2021šŸ“· By Leonard Manson

YouTube has announced that it will start removing videos from the platform that recommend drugs whose effectiveness against covid-19 has not been scientifically proven.

This includes content for the indication of hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin ā€“ drugs that are prescribed or suggested by users and some medical authorities as treatment or a way to reduce possible infections by the new coronavirus.

According to G1, the measure is valid for old videos, that is, that was already published before. The clip flagged as inappropriate results in a notification sent to the channel owner by email and, if the infringement is repeated, it can carry penalties ranging from a weekā€™s suspension from the platform to deletion of the channel.

Has begun

The novelty takes effect from an update in medical information policies related to the current pandemic.

The use of hydroxychloroquine is linked to a higher death rate in studies conducted in 2020, while ivermectin was more recently discouraged by the World Health Organization (WHO).

According to YouTube, more than 850,000 videos worldwide have been removed from the platform for violating content policies on covid-19.

YouTube seems to be controlled by BigPharma. Why else would they be censoring information. They certainly aren't censoring pro vaccine videos and THATS unproven too. Covid vaccine are not even FDA approved. Bunch of goddammed bull shit.

Ivermectin will not make BigPharma rich. End of story. So they make sure people dont know how to help themselves when they get covid and their stupid bought out doctors tell them to go home and take Tylenol and good luck. Fuck that. I'll take the Ivermectin. Hiding cures from the people and letting them die. All in the name of money. This country is EVIL.

My guess is that the pressure isn't coming from drug companies directly, but from various bigshot medicos whose letters or calls have hinted at public shaming or legal penalties unless pro-ivermectin material is removed.

I just bought the pour on Ivermectin for cattle. I guess it's the purest form without all the fillers

This issue has made me the angriest I've ever been. Letting people die for profit doesn't sit well with me.

Please explain? I am very curious of the details of how pharma is puppet-mastering the world. The circumstantial evidence points to it happening, but I'd love to know the details of exactly how it is done.

(Hoping a Snowden-level whistleblower is out there somewhere.)

Is it a surprise to anyone that we live in an undercover fascist authoritarian state, where you must comply with the religious mandates of medicalized scientism. The ā€˜scienticiansā€™ will happily drink the proverbial cool aid and only the vigilant will be left standing.

Covid vaccines are not proven to prevent infection or transmission, but those videos are ok.

Thatā€™s because the medical authorities have recommended them, so YouTube faces no short-term legal risks, and has a ā€œstopperā€ of a response: All the worldā€™s medical authorities recommend vaccination.

But it has been scientifically proven. So should be good right? 1 in 58 trillion chance it doesn't work?

But it has been scientifically proven. So should be good right?

The legal standard is that the proclamations of official public health agencies are presumptively given precedence, AFAIK. Perhaps a multi-million-dolar case could be made to remove that precedence, but YouTube probably doesn't want to go down that roadā€”and lacks confidence that it could win.

I'm just hoping the story is wrong. We should know in a few days, depending on whether it is confirmed.

It's not the mainstream point of view that it has been scientifically proven. The "1 in 58 trillion chance" only refers to random effects - the chance the studies show effect only because of luck. But this doesn't cover possible bias, which is not that easy to quantify.

Is there a common confounder among all the studies included in the meta-analysis other than ivermectin?

permalink

[-] TehCaster | 1 points | Apr 21 2021 09:24:51

In prophylaxis studies it's often voluntary decision to take IVM, which can bias towards those that are more precautious in general.

Then in non-blinded studies you can get bias from unconscious "I got the treatment so I must be better" or also from the doctor's side. Etc.

[-] runderwo | 1 points | Apr 21 2021 17:21:49

Of course, and one goal of a meta-analysis is to reduce the impact of these type of confounders. It seems like every study or set of studies in each stage has distinct confounders and that, taken as a whole, it's ivermectin that is the common confounder across all studies.

[-] magebane1 | 2 points | Apr 21 2021 01:35:58

Yeah that's just a probability on a meta-analysis. To me it's unscientific to say only 'this type' and 'this large' of study in 'these countries' qualifies as scientifically proven.

Also I'm assuming Youtube will remove videos on remdesivir for COVID-19 as well? Less studies, worse outcomes?

In the same line they ought to remove videos which mention all such so-called vaccines, because we don't have real facts about their effectiveness, they do know this is a big scam, this is time to establish a new video sharing platform.

They are not legally safe if they donā€™t toe the line the accredited health agencies have drawn. Thereā€™s a modern American curse: ā€œMay you be in the right in a lawsuit.ā€

It's the same as claiming they have 6 months of safety data when in fact they have just over 4. Claiming Phase 3 which has zero non-partisan review or oversight doesn't count. So we basically have Mid-December to now of safety data, and they appear 'reasonably' safe, but don't have near the safety profile and never will than Ivermectin does.

I'm not against taking the vaccine but I want to see 9-months in the wild. I didn't sign up for the biggest Phase 4 trial in the world's history.

Either YouTube has just begun its purge, or this news report has made a mistake and is actually reporting on something that happened in the past and that hasn't led to a mass deletion. I'm a bit suspicious, because I haven't seen confirming stories in the MSM.

The NIH is running a suite of RCT studies with placebo in half a dozen countries with a total number of over 5000 participants, per my guess. It'll be done in maybe four months. Totally uneccesary, of course. In fact, an isult to our intelligence.

What Dr. Osborne of the FLCCC advised was the way for Big Med to go: Enroll every doctor who wants to prescribe ivermectin to an ongoing informal study, in which they report their results weekly for semi-weekly. This would have given regulators a good justification for recommending the drug within a month or two, assuming the results were successful.
