I see no reason that they won't jump on IVM for vaccine refusers. If we get beyond the emergency use status, IVM and other drugs will be extremely useful. Also for varient escape. I am hoping the only reason IVM has been ignored is the vaccine emergency use rules

While it does not explicitly name any drug, the describtion fits well with Ivm. Ie. for early treatment, post exposure prophylaxis, used at home, cheap etc. Dr Tess is also from the UK, and as I understand, has been in touch with the government.
OTOH, talks about bringing in pharma companies and pursuing “novel” drugs..
