Documenting the reddit site-wide ban of user "ivermectin4all" - ban follows their perma-ban on Twitter - ban follows their posting of Merck's 2003 safety study on ivermectin where 10x doses were declared safe by Merck scientists - ban could also be due to the suggestive name "ivermectin4all"Evidently this post by ivermectin4all was removed by reddit spam filters:
Post 1
https://www.reddit.com/r/ivermectin/comments/mpkrqs Safety, Tolerability, and Pharmacokinetics of Escalating High Doses of Ivermectin in Healthy Adult Subjects - A double-blind, placebo controlled, multiple rising dose study in healthy men & women.
and the comment as well by ivermectin4all where he posted the Abstract from the paper:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ivermectin/comments/mpkrqs/safety_tolerability_and_pharmacokinetics_of/guabeob/
The paper is the Merck paper from 2002 where they showed ivermectin was safe at 10x the usual dosing.
In addition, this post by ivermectin4all was removed by reddit spam filters:
Post 2
https://www.reddit.com/r/ivermectin/comments/mqt5rk/im_in_twitter_prison_again_for_posting_a_study/guhyh2g/ I'm in Twitter prison again for posting a study investigating safety of ivermectin & a petition
When I had asked which study - and ivermectin4all posted the link to above threat - that was removed as well.
I can approve Post 1 it seems because it is from 3 days ago.
But I cannot approve Post 2 which is from 1 day ago. It keeps getting removed by reddit.
EDIT: after approving repeatedly it seems Post 2 has been approved. Let's see how long that lasts.
It turns out ivermectin4all's profile is returning:
https://www.reddit.com/user/Ivermectin4all/
The person may have been banned or the username is incorrect.
Evidently ivermectin4all has been banned site-wide across reddit.
This follows the earlier ban by Twitter mentioned above.
EDIT: 2021-04-16 - added ivermectin4all to the Approved Users list - if I am understanding it correctly they will be able to post to the r/ivermectin subreddit at least, and have their posts be visible to others. Let's see if that is the case.
Additionally, it could be that ivermectin4all was banned not because of a new post, but their earlier posts. Sufficient number of which may have been flagged for violating some new rules from Twitter (could be similar to what YouTube has announced) regarding ivermectin, or possibly regarding vaccination.
I think one post by ivermectin4all may have announced their intention to rely solely on ivermectin for prophylaxis, and to use that as justification for avoiding vaccines altogether - from 3 months ago. This would fall awry of YouTube new rules (suggesting that vaccines are not the best option).
However I am not aware of Twitter new rules regarding this.
Or whether such a ban should be retroactive ie on previous posting history - as that would account for erasure, without allowing a user to modify their behavior to comply with new rules. Retroactive bans would be akin to banning people for what they are likely to post in the future based on prior history, or an assumption that people will not change.

I can see Post 1 (& comment) and Post 2, but I still cannot see the profile ("page not found").

Yes, ivermectin4all is still banned by reddit.
It's just that if I manually approve their post it starts to become visible to the public.
I added ivermectin4all to the Approved Users list - so at least is visible to the r/ivermectin subreddit, but it may not have helped.

Or if the government would make the sale of alcohol illegal and then lock everybody up that sold alcohol in the past :)
It really feels like the west has moved rapidly toward a censorship of information that goes against everything the west is supposed to stand for and it really does become concerning that we might also rapidly be moving towards dictatorship/authoritarianism. For the past 6 months 1984 has sprung to my mind various times.
