Ethics issue with the ivermectin trial used as basis for FDA disapproval...[-] BernieTheDachshund | 2 points
So because the name MIGHT have been known disqualifies it regardless of results? I don't get it.
Because the name "might" NOT have been known...
If they were testing to see if ivermectin was efficient and asked people to join their test, they'd want people NOT already on ivermectin.
But if you don't tell them your testing for ivermectin and use a different/scientific name that's not common to non-scientists, they'll not know to say whether they've used the drug you're wanted to test.
Thus testing someone with the drug against someone also with the drug, is pointless and yields no significant results.
Disqualifying the test entirely!

For me, anyone intentionally hindering the scientific process for helping the world during a pandemic is a traitor to the human race.
There were other RCTs that were superior to this study but JAMA chose to publish this. JAMA is choosing to publish this flawed study, funded by major pharmaceuticals corporations with special interests against the success of ivermectin. You get where I’m going with this.
