This is the front page of Czech daily "Právo" for March 03 (picture was shared somewhere without the top logo etc.), but in few hours it should appear also at https://pravo.cz/ (now there's yesterday's front page, you can see it also mentions IVM few times). It's the first mainstream newspaper in CZ that picked up the topic and is now pushing it consistently for week and a half. But the full front page is completely unprecendented. Nobody knows why they do that, other media folks at social networks are baffled. Can you see the FLCCC mentions in the picture? :)

They usually also post most articles later online at https://novinky.cz so once I see some, will post links w/ google translate here.

The full page is now visible at https://pravo.cz/ for today.

Since Czech republic currently (March 3rd, 2021) has one of the fastest rising number of cases in the world, it is important to watch the number of hospitalizations and deaths in the coming weeks. It amounts to a large scale natural observational trial.

I've afraid it's too early to expect such effect. The amounts we imported so far are negligible, we would need that amounts daily if it was to be used for early treatment of e.g. everyone tested positive. And Slovakia is a bit ahead in this but also not that much. Right now we might just hope for more results reported by doctors who will administer it. And I hope that it will be more than anedcotal evidence. The ministry of health is planning to do a study on 3000 people, probably focus on the risk groups, although I very much doubt it's going to be a double blind RCT. Hopefully the numbers will at least show something anyway.

If someone were to donate directly to the mayor of the Czech town, or directly to the minister of interior (who has spoken out about it's need), are there some legal hurdles for them receiving it?

It would likely not pass customs, they had this issue in Slovakia.
