It is, in particular cold viruses which are in the coronavirus family. Viruses that use importin to disrupt interferon stimulated genes (ISG) are good targets for Ivermectin.

I avoid the word, but it's without a doubt a remarkable drug and there is so much more it could do for us.

Also check out Dr Been, but I am sure you have. He covers some other mechanisms of action, or other perspectives on the same mechanisms, in good detail. It all comes together. Inflammation signalling cascade is really complex, there's no single target (IL6 receptor, CCR5 etc.) that controls everything. Steroids work so well because they suppress everything. With Ivermectin its mechanisms are quite profound.
