In February, we will see results from more randomized trials of ivermectin to treat COVID-19: Brazil: 700 patients Bulgaria: 100 patients Argentina: 500 patients Columbia: 550 patients (2 trials) Mexico: 3000 patients (safety data) The evidence base is growing rapidly

The present evidence is moderately strong. Not conclusive due to the small size of the early trials and the risk of publication bias (negative studies less likely to be published). The new larger trials will help reduce both problems. Will they be as strongly positive as the first 11-17 trials analyzed so far? We will find out.
Meanwhile for the month of February into early March, it is unethical to NOT give ivermectin to treat known Covid-19 patients and as a preventive to front line health care workers. Ethical physicians must use the BEST AVAILABLE DATA.... which at present show that ivermectin is quite probably a life saving medication.
