Ivermectin in India ends the Covid19 pandemic.

Anyone else seen the news in India that their pandemic is over after extensive primary care and use of HCQ and Ivermectin from August 2020. Why isn't this major news?

Because “there’s still not enough science” they say.

Then they have an army of psychotic reporters unwilling to report because they’re on “team science”

It's utterly nauseating. The medical establishment has failed people in the most catastrophic way possible.

A complete failure - for me it’s great to know how to research these things for myself

indeed. there are knows and know nots. the knows have their ivermectin, fluvoxamine, bromhexine and other interventions lined up and will survive along with their families. all the dead physicians/medical professionals are testament to the rampant incompetence of so many in the field. it's such a tragedy and travesty. so many did not have to die.

Big pharma cannot make profits off ivermectin. They are desperate to keep this quiet and you taking a vaccine weekly.

To stall as much as possible to pust the vaccine which is not effective in the long term because the virus keeps on mutating around it . . Ivermectin is a miracle drug...The virus has to deal with 3 or more pathways and try to randomly figure out how to replicate around it. Not very likely for a very long time if ever! Its the answer to this Pandemic without any question!

/u/Alexanderandjeff, I have found an error in your comment:

“~~Its~~ [It's] the answer”

I state that you, Alexanderandjeff, have posted a typo and meant to type “~~Its~~ [It's] the answer” instead. ‘Its’ is possessive; ‘it's’ means ‘it is’ or ‘it has’.

I only now looked at the image. what is the source of the statistic that 300 million doses of IVM have been taken in India come from? THAT is a VERY INTERESTING NUMBER but I'm going to need more than an image before I accept it.

I don’t doubt that Ivermectin is helping, but there are other big differences also. Vitamin D deficiency and simply being old are a LOT more common in Europe than India. India’s median age is 29, Europe’s is 42. (And Africa’s is an insane 19)

In Mexico the majority are young but it’s the worst country by far. Metabolic aging is more important than chronological aging.

Someone told me that Mexico is fatter than the US?!

Thanks for digging that up!

Looks like US is fatter than Mexico overall (second column), but Mexican women are slightly chubbier than American women (fourth column) and American men are chubbier than Mexican men (sixth column).

All the numbers with decimal places are BMIs.

There's also the theory that people living in slums have better immunity in general because they come into contact with all kind of nasty bacteria and viruses every day.

[-] Decrevisum | 2 points | Jan 29 2021 23:19:44

Actually in the slums they have free Hydroxychloroquine and then from august ivermectin. Remember india has over 300 million elderly over the age of 65, nearly more than the whole population of USA https://www.hindustantimes.com/lucknow/lucknow-admin-to-set-up-kiosks-for-distribution-of-ivermectin-tablets/story-YNDN2GIdWHf7EsDgZQbmNL.html

Indian here. Mandatory masking, strict lockdown (too strict actually), strict enforcement of mask orders, leading to much higher proportion of asymptomatic infections, coupled with dirt, pollution, dust which means the average person on the street has an immune system continually exposed to a variety of pathogens and viruses throughout the year. In addition, nutrition is not as great as in the West, and obesity is much lower, so the cytokine storm isn't that powerful or dangerous. Next, extreme availability of medicines, pre-stocking by everyone who could. Finally, BCG vaccination.

(Clearly, I'm a layman and some of the above may be irrelevant)

Yes, I agree we need to factor in other things. Still, it's just interesting to see this trend.

OP, do you know what percent of the residents of Lucknow took ivermectin for prophylaxis? 10%? 90%? Same question about treatment.

You don't know, right? That's why whatever happened with covid in Lucknow, which you do not present any information about, cannot be attributed to ivermectin. We don't know how pervasively ivermectin was used there.

The article about Lucknow that you posted was posted to the sub when it happened in August. AFAIK there's be little or no ivermectin news since then.

Except you said the pandemic is over in India as a whole, right? India had about 19,000 new cases yesterday and 162 deaths. By US standards, I guess that's trivial. Let's say the pandemic is being handled much better in India than the US.
