Does this add anything to the other article?

The therapeutic use of Ivermectin in patients with coronavirus in Slovakia has been approved, writes Parameter. Therapeutic use of the drug has been approved for half a year for the time being. It will be available not only in hospitals but also in prescription pharmacies, Zuzana Eliášová, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, told TASR news agency.

The spokesman added that the drug could be used in addition to other treatments. It has already been registered in several countries, including France, the US, Sweden and Norway.

The State Agency for Drug Control (ŠÚKL) said on Tuesday that ivermectin has not been registered as a medicine to treat COVID-19 so far. The agency recalled that if a pharmaceutical company has data that a drug is effective against this disease, it has two options. The first is the standard registration process, in which case the pharmaceutical company can turn to the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the State Medicines Control Agency. However, the agency said it had not received such a request for any of the medicines.

"Registered" appears to mean "approved" here, but (as you know) ivermectin has not been approved for covid in the US.

Therapeutic use of an unregistered drug may also be requested. In Slovakia, the Ministry of Health can issue such a permit, and has now done so for ivermectin.
