Cyclosporine and dexamethasone both appear helpful for sicker patients, and I would add those and consider dipyridamole on hospital admission. This approach is similar to the Broward, East Virginia Medical College, and now also Baylor protocols aimed first of all at treating outpatients so they never require hospitalization.
