Is there any data on IVM’s efficacy against new variants?[-] stereomatch | 8 points
This is a very important question - given ivermectin had broad antiviral effectiveness, and happens to be effective against covid19, suggests that it's activity may be generic or systemic rather than a specific match to covid19. So gut feeling or intuition of the scientist would be that it should have wider effect.
But this can only be confirmed by testing against the variants, or seeing the effects in variant infested regions.

There is no data but it's thought that IVM's MOAs will be just as effective against all the variants. Dr. Been answered this question in one of his Q&A's recently.
I wish we could say the same for the vaccines. The UK isn't too bad, the SA is concerning, the Brazilian is a major concern!

Just what I like to hear. It was my guess given its MOA as well.
