I'm surrounded by covid..

I work in a small group and we interact with the public daily. We follow the rules and the mandates. Three have fallen ill with covid so far this week. And when I say close, we are always in the same room with one another, albeit a large space. I've been taking Ivermectin for about two mos as a prophylaxis and have now had two doses this week. I guess we're about to see how well this works 🤞

Great idea to use IVM for PEP. I'd recommend 1/week at 200mcg/kg just to be safe. Ventilation is very effective too. Open windows, HEPA spot filters, MERV rated HVAC filters in the building HVAC system. Also, you might want to gargle with Listerine antiseptic mouthwash and Xlear Xylitol nasal spray. These were both shown to be highly anti viral against SARS-CoV-2. Cheap insurance policy to use after type of higher risk exposure i.e. after work in your case.

In case you want to look over a supplement regimen here is a link to the one I've compiled:

Excellent! I'm taking almost everything on that list ;) and have been for some time. I'm also taking DHEA, Magnesium and Vitamin E that I don't believe I saw there. I so appreciate the valuable input!!

One question for you all - it has been suggested to me that I now take the IVM daily for a week or so, would you all agree?

I'm not a doctor, but the doctors who have studied this subject more closely than any others I'm aware of recommend 2 doses over 48 hours for post-exposure prophylaxis.

That would step up to daily for 2-5 days *if* you get sick

Have you gotten a C19 test result back?

No, I haven't tested because I don't have symptoms - which is how they're advising tests around here

What kind of mask do you use? Cloth? Kn95? Other? Keep us posted in the comments.

Cloth, thick cloth and I wash them daily. I'm also taking all recommended supplements and then some. I absolutely will keep y'all posted!

Best if you have a level 3 surgical mask under your cloth mask. Filtration rate of level 3 are <98% down to 0.1 micron. The unaerosolized particle size of covid is estimated to be around 0.1 microns. Thus the cloth functions only to help provide a better seal around the surgical mask. A kn95 that fits well is even better over a surgical mask. Source... I am a dentist.

Hi! What are those other meds / supplements that you take and hiw much?

There are so many. I take roughly the following daily: 5k to 10k D3, 500mg magnesium, 50mg DHEA, 1200MG NAC, minimum of 1k mg Vit C, 50mg zinc, 1k mcg B12, 10mg melatonin, 500mg quercetin. I've just added glutathione to the mix although it may be redundant thanks to the NAC. I may be forgetting something, but that's very close to correct.

Aren't youbworried about hypercalcemia? Is when you take a far large amount of D3 for longer periods of time

[-] Barberelli | 1 points | Jan 19 2021 16:17:56

I'm not, I've read a ton of research and am following what many researchers and physicians are doing themselves. I'll admit that I skip a day here and there on the D3. But I do take K as well to help keep the calcium where it belongs. I totally forgot that one. And I'm sure I have forgotten a couple more. Pepcid.. I take 20mg pepcid a few days a week

Well maybe you're right, I haven't read a lot but I've seen doctors saying that more than 4k of D3 is kinda a lot even more for prolonged periods like daily. Also did you mean K2? It's often taken with D3 but one of the things it does is to help better absorption of calcium so doesn't increase the risk for hypercalcemia? I don't know like I said I'm just trying to bring it on the table just in case but if I'm sooo wrong don't mean to be disrespectful or anything and bc I'm kinda worried since my parents take that combination (D3 + K2) and have high blood pressure

The K2 works to keep the calcium inside the bones where it belongs as opposed to releasing into the bloodstream ;)
