What's worse than the headline is many "informed" people will simply believe the implication of the headline (i.e., "... unproven....") simply due to the "credibility" of the publication (in this case, Nature) - just like many people who read the NYT; they seem to be very comfortable with these authorities and often marginalize those who don't follow those same authorities in my lived experience. Part of me is angry at these people (the readers and the publishers both), part of me is sad, part of me is fearful, and part of me just keeps on the path.... Fortunately I have not personally lost anyone to COVID. I'm learning to accept that many people will follow the mainstream path and many will die or suffer from it, but this may be easier for them (less psychologically painful) than challenging the "official" narrative; it's their choice and I need to accept that. On the other hand, I am doing all I can to protect myself and help others who are open to such words. Also, at least if the article is true, Panama is being smart.

After watching how Ivermectin has been systematically, unilaterally dismissed in the media completely in the past 4 weeks (especially since Dr. Kory spoke in front of Senate Homeland Committee with facts) and these news sources (AP, NYT) completely and seemingly in synchronicity ignoring the science, I no longer trust our media (I feel like a crazy person writing these words). And I went to a school of Journalism and either Journalism is lazy and dead or it truly has a single supply line which I can't figure out. I cried today hearing how a friend of friends parents died within hours of each other due to Covid. At the VERY LEAST my God allow early treatment within the home to other family members.

I found this article after someone said that ivermectin is not being used in Panama. Can any Panamanians confirm or deny the use of ivermectin there?
