Ivermectin and Vaccines

Hello, feel free to remove this post if it doesn't suit the sub.
Is there any information on taking ivermectin and a vaccine? I could be getting the pfizer vaccine soon, but I guess if ivermectin kills the virus it could also prevent the shot from working. So should I stop prophylaxis? How much should I wait after doing that before getting the shot? Medical references would be appreciated. Stay safe and healthy, everyone!

I don't think you'll find much data on this specific topic. I saw this question addressed on either Dr. Been's Friday Q&A session or WhiteBoard Doctor's 2nd interview with Dr. Carvallo (lead on the IDEA and IVERCAR RCTs). I can't recall which one covered it. The answer was that the theorized MOAs for Ivermectin wouldn't inhibit the immune response to the vaccination. This was in reference to the mRNA vaccines and the explanation was that the vaccine leads to the ribosomes translating only a spike protein which is then presented on the cell's membrane. It doesn't involve the viral cargo proteins being imported into the nucleus. That was how I remember the explanation at least.

This is what I found in FLCCC web page "questions&answers"part: Our understanding of the importance of ivermectin in the context of the new vaccines, is that ivermectin prophylaxis should be thought of as complementary bridge to vaccination until the vaccines are made available to all those in need. At this time, and after speaking with the vaccine experts, we do not believe that ivermectin prophylaxis interferes with the efficacy/immune response to the vaccine, however it must also be recognized that no definitive data exists to more specifically answer this question. However, given that maximal immunity from the vaccines is only achieved 2 weeks after the second dose of vaccine, it is reasonable to take bi-weekly ivermectin until this time point.

Link to my discussion on r/gettingIvermectin, I now have some homework to do, thank you OP.

The big question is whether Ivermectin will bind to spike protein epitopes presented on MHC-I, and if so would that inhibit the process of T cell activation that leads to acquired immunity.

If anyone has a view on this, please chime in.
