So besides a few small studiesIs this legitimate? I purchased the medicine from Amazon for my horse, it will be here in a few days.
Since this whole mess started, I’ve seen people injecting bleach, taking potentially harmful fish antibiotics, purchasing other prescription drugs online and having horrible consequences. Now this.
I’ve read the papers, I’ve watched the videos. It seems to have promise, but there really isn’t any hard evidence, no thorough studies, unless I’ve missed something. There seem to be conspiracy theories a plenty, and YouTube doctors calling it a miracle.
I want this to work. I have a wife who likely would be hospitalized if she caught Covid, and it’s a good chance I might too.
I’ve scanned this sub pretty extensively. Jut looking for a good, solid reason that I should make this a part of my prophylactic regimen, along with vit C, D, B12 and zinc.

Uhh...long read, but pretty good reasoning (studies referenced)
https://covid19criticalcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/FLCCC-Ivermectin-in-the-prophylaxis-and-treatment-of-COVID-19.pdf
The fact that it's harmless (except for potentially those on organ transplant drugs) is what made me go for it in addition to the supporting evidence around it
What do you think about the horse paste? I know a lot of people here have used it, just don’t really trust something not made for humans... but also don’t see any other way to get it.
It's less than ideal, but I trust it. There's big money in the horse world and it seems unlikely that a company would risk their reputation or worse with a subpar pharmaceutical that's so trivial to produce in the first place. I trust it more than human pills from a random online pharmacy from India, for example. My senior parents and myself have been taking it for a month now with no issues. I will say that it's not my first foray into using pet meds, so I've definitely grown more comfortable using them than your average person, at least with legit brands.

I have worked around horses all my life. We occasionally get it in our mouth unintentionally when we pull the cap off with our mouth while administering it to the herd. It taste like apple and we have always joked that we were worm free. In Montana, we don’t worry too much about these viruses but as sure as it hit here I knew that there had to be something that would help. When I discovered this I put a tube back in the house just in case. When it was popping up everywhere I knew it was a matter of time. When it hit me I didn’t hesitate. Then it was my family. I believe taking it at first sign of symptoms made all the difference. Aside from a slight hankering for alfalfa (lol) we have no problems, especially with covid.

Good story, thanks! (Not alleging it's fictional with the word "story ").

This question should have been asked in /r/gettingIvermectin. You should have looked for answers there instead of posting the main post.
/u/the_last_whiskey_bar gave you a link to an excellent paper.

I can say honestly that I gave it to my entire family at onset of symptoms and we all were 75% better within hours and 90% better after 24 hours.

The tablets. The horse paste is available and as effective as the prescription tablets
