I don't have specific information, but I would stay away from any topical treatments, including the drench. Topical formulas may have compounds unfit for consumption since they are not even intended for animal consumption, but rather topical application.
I have never used drench in my animals and looking at Durvets site, I see it’s oral. I’d go with something that has already been calculated and in wider use.
