Found this video by Dr Mazen Kherallah, MD, MHA, FCCP presenting his assessment of a number of therapeutic treatments for COVID-19 as well as the status of vaccines.

Posted because he discusses Ivermectin, along with HCQ, Bamlanivimab, Regeneron, convalescent plasma, Favipiravir, Dexamethasone, anticoagulants, interferon, interleukin inhibitors, Baricitinib.

Some timestamps to find the discussions:

His conclusion was that based on these small studies and without good RCT, he is unable to make a strong recommendation for the use of Ivermectin.

I commented on his video to point out the meta analysis of the studies completed to date, as well as my views about the concerns for achieving therapeutic serum levels.

He was kind to reply as follows:

"I do not have a problem using in the absence of other effective medications, at least we have much stronger data compared to what we had for HCQ when it was approved by FDA with EUA."
