Re my suggestion in this Post re TRIAGING PROCEDURE, I have just found this site (below) which is promoting exactly what I have been suggesting. Perhaps readers of r/ivermectin & who are also USA citizens would like to add their signature to this most worthwhile petition.

I intend to start a petition to the Australian Government for the same purpose. I will promote it on Reddit when it has been initiated.

This article quotes Dr. Carvallo's statements on a TV show. It summarizes both IVER.CAR studies (small and big).

Dr. Carvallo reiterates that the carrageenan isn't responsible for the prophylaxis.

Remarkable: 15 doctors (I guess they're doctors) resigned in protest from an organization that rejected ivermectin, because ivermectin had saved the 15 doctors lives. Prophylaxis!

Noteworthy excerpts:

This is the protocol mentioned in a TrialSiteNews article that implies carrageenan is not an important source of the amazing prophylaxis shown by Big IVER.CAR. I wish both doctors would publish their findings formally.

The Big IVER.CAR dose as 12mg taken weekly. We knew that.

#Ivermectin: DOES NOT GENERATE IMMUNITY

The professional clarified that Ivermectin does not generate immunity but explained the meaning of herd immunity, noting that it is when 75% of the population, either because they were vaccinated or infected, have developed antibodies and the circulation of the virus would already be very limited. "What we say is that in patients with mild symptoms, with treatment we managed to make the symptoms subside in 48 to 72 hours, so that none went moderate or severe, because even the most severe case was mild at first. "

Bad translation? Or the writer coming up with a bad title for the paragraph?

I think we would expect immunity in the situation in the last sentence: had covid, was symptom-free in 48-72 hours. That doesn't mean the immune system didn't contribute to the cure. Ivermectin doesn't turn off T-cells etc.

Do we know whether ivermectin prevents antibodies?

The Argentine Society of Infectology issued a public letter rejecting the use of Ivermectin, a fact that generated divisions within health professionals. In this regard, Dr. Carvallo pointed out that “it was an unfortunate situation in the best of cases because it was not signed by all the SAI partners but only by a few and that report is extremely rare because one can declare that they are not in favor of something but not strongly against it. That letter led to the resignation of 15 partners, including the founding partners of the Argentine Society of Infectious Diseases who are still alive, because all of them are using Ivermectin. It was untimely, "he concluded.

Wow: 15 doctors resign to protest a letter dissing ivermectin, because the 15 are alive because they're taking ivermectin. Were the naysayers unaware of IVER.CAR?

1.   An excellent "rant" TLA. "Rant" is your word not mine! I'd rather say ".... a fascinating explanation of your expertise & how you've applied it to assess the efficacy of IVERMECTIN, both as a prophylaxis (preventive) & as a cure!" Somewhat longer than "rant", but contains more appropriate credit to you.

2.   Those of us who care about IVERMECTIN &/or a quick & relatively simple way to control SAR-CoV-2 without the excessive use of the currently popular Lockdown procedure with its devastation on the population's well-being & the country's economy, are aware of the techniques used to denigrate IVM. The authorities simply state that the supposed evidence of IVM's therapeutic values for SAR-CoV-2 has only been reported from Observational Studies (Anecdotal Experiences) instead of the sacred & almighty "Approved Clinical Trials Procedures".

3.   I freely admit that Clinical Trials are the only way under normal circumstances, to reasonably confirm the SAFETY & the EFFICACY of a medication in combatting a given disease, in this case IVERMECTIN versus SAR-CoV-2. However, the current pandemic is far from a normal circumstance.

4.   The pandemic has created the following two major NON NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES:

4.1.   Infected patients overloading our hospital facilities, including the supplementary oxygen supplies, the respirators & the ICUs; &

4.2.   Infected patients, especially the senior citizens, & most especially those with preexisting medical conditions, dying before they recover.

5.   These are not only Non Normal Circumstances, they are an EMERGENCY SITUATION, which demand such actions as triaging. For the life of me, I cannot think of a simpler, safer, cheaper or more effective system than the following TRIAGING PROCEDURE:

5.1.   As soon as a patient is identified as being infected with SAR-CoV-2, or is suspected of being infected should testing facilities not be immediately available, the IP (Infected Patient) is to complete the following actions:

5.1.1.   The IP is to be provided with two Standard Single Doses (SSDs) (my terminology) for the IP & per family member who lives at the IP's home. One SSD is 1×3mg Ivermectin Tablet per 15-to-20kg Patient Body Wt ie for patient weighing say 70kg (154lbs), dosage is 4x Tablets.

5.1.2.   The IP & the IP's family are to immediately self isolate at home, & are each to immediately take (consume) one SSD of IVERMECTIN.

5.1.3.   After 7 days have passed, if the SAR-CoV-2 symptoms are still present, the associated IP or family member is to take another SSD of IVERMECTIN.

6.   In this way, all members of that household, & every other household involving at least one infected individual, will be able to recover from the infection at home, will not need to use the hospital facilities, & will almost certainly avoid dying from the infection. If anyone has a better suggestion, or any way to improve on my suggestions above, then please provide an appropriate Comment here.

7.   TLA: May I suggest that this TRIAGING PROCEDURE together with the reports of IVM's curative success from Observational Studies, backed up by the facts associated with your quasi-experiment of IVM MDAs on covid19, should convince any sceptic. What do you think?
