Exciting announcement from Dr. Paul Marik on his Youtube video lecture on IvermectinA new update of the MATH+ protocol is coming up soon. Yesterday, Dr. Paul Marik commented the following on his Youtube lecture from Oct. 24:

Thanks for all the feedback. On further research, I discovered that Ivermectin has powerful immunomodulating properties. This important fact was missed in all the papers I reviewed.. I, therefore, plan to do an update in the coming days.

Folks. I am working on an update, which will hopefully Save the World. The data is very exciting. Once this is done I will update my EVMS protocol.

Have you seen the update, saving the planet. About a month ago Paul Marik had IVM as a question mark. A few days ago he had it as a strong contender. Now he is begging the medical world to act fast and has IVM in all three stages as essential and in combination with Vitimin c. Interesting to hear the urgency in his voice. I am already convinced. When is this going to get more mainstream coverage??

Yup, his rapid change in tune lately has given me lots of confidence in IVM. It’s one thing to see Dr. Borody sing it’s praises but we are now seeing more Dr.’s on board, has to be a good sign!

Holy crap! Anyway to stay up to date on this? I can’t wait to hear more. Thanks for sharing!

You are really bringing it, Mass, thanks!
A substance that stimulates or suppresses the immune system and may help the body fight cancer, infection, or other diseases. Specific immunomodulating agents, such as monoclonal antibodies, cytokines, and vaccines, affect specific parts of the immune system. Nonspecific immunomodulating agents, such as BCG and levamisole, affect the immune system in a general way. Also called immune system modulator.
We have long thought that ivermectin prevent covid19 from entering the nucleus and breaking the cell's immune function. Dr. Marik talks about that in the video. He must be thinking of something else. The cytokine storm? There was a mouse study that showed ivermectin inhibits cytokines.
This letter to BMJ:
Moreover, there are two reports that ivermectin, administered either systemically or topically, exerts anti-inflammatory effects in murine models of allergic inflammation (asthma and atopic dermatitis).7 8 The systemic effect was achieved with a 2 mg/kg dose. Although it is conceivable that these anti-inflammatory effects of ivermectin are restricted to LPS or toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signalling, it may well be the case that it works downstream in this signalling pathway in a way that would be pertinent to other proinflammatory signalling pathways. Moreover, there is reason to suspect that the damage-associated molecular pattern high mobility group box 1 (HMGB1), which is released by dying cells and acts as an agonist for the TLR4 receptor, is a mediator of the lung inflammation associated with COVID-19.9 Hence, it is reasonable to suspect that, in doses at or modestly above the standard clinical dose, ivermectin may have important clinical potential for managing disorders associated with life-threatening respiratory distress and cytokine storm—such as advanced COVID-19. Ivermectin may have been ‘flying under the radar’ in this regard during four decades of clinical use.
Just a guess.
This study was reviewed the WhiteBoard Doctor two days ago. It talks about the immunoregulating capability of Ivermectin.

Thanks! I saw that post and haven't yet looked at the video. I'll watch it today.

I've been sporadically listening to This Week in Virology. The show frequently starts with an update by Dr. Daniel Griffin, NYC MD/PhD. Dr. Griffin said that he was going to work with Dr. Marik to write a paper about the phases of covdi-19 illness, with the goal of getting consensus on the phases, their names and durations. Maybe Dr. Marik will share his ivermectin views with Dr. Griffin. The last time ivermectin came up on TWIV they were (ignorant and) dismissive.
Oh, I remember that event. They were joking at the expense of Ivermectin and Prof. Borody, right? They looked pretty arrogant.

The main guy's wife worked for Merck and came on around April with the CONCENTRATION TOO HIGH!!! argument, IIRC. So they're not receptive. It's a sad fact that very few people in the US are following ivermectin. Dr. Marik is a wonderful exception, as are Dr. Ratjer and colleagues in Broward County (ICON).
I'm losing hope that IVM will ever be accepted as an early treatment drug to save lives in much of the western world.

I think Borody's trial might do the trick, persuade the FDA to pay attention, maybe issue a EUA. IIRC the trial is supposed to be done in April.
I'm making up that the eventual vaccine will be analogous to the flu vaccine: only somewhat effective, with new covid19 vaccines necessary every few years (not annually like with flu). If the vaccine is 70% effective against covid19, I'll take it cheerfully -- and continue to take ivermectin. 70% effective = 30% ineffective. If ivermectin is 90% effective, that brings my exposure down to 3%. Maybe then I'll be comfortable joining friends at a restaurant -- maybe dosing with nicotine and carrageenan nasal spray. ;)

And tonight the chef has especially prepared a Rack of Lamb in a wonderful Ivermectin sauce!

Ultimately: ivermectin in toothpaste, like fluoride. ;)
