Where can a person get Ivermectin and HCQ if a doctor refuses to prescribe? If your'e doctor is a prick or hides behind " the FDA has not approved for Covid-19 " bullshit Fauci thing, where can Americans get these life saving drugs and use off label? Either with or without prescription ? Any cheap foreign sources? Thanks
Any Tractor Supply or Orschelns, Fleet Farm, or other farm store will sell several varieties. Most are in topical, paste, drench, or injectable.
These all have a mg/lb chart that applies to large mammals. Only the drench and paste forms are ingestible.
I would just topically apply it if I needed it.
The topical is just $65 for a liter of it.

I saw that it's also used for rosacea in humans. So the drench and paste are absorbed through the skin?
Absorption may not be required to treat rosacea. Studies of rosacea and Demodex mites have revealed that some people with rosacea have increased numbers of the mite. Ivermectin is not well absorbed because it is lipophilic (logP, 5.83).
The drench is a milky liquid used for some smaller animals like goats. The paste is an edible paste, often flavored apple, for large animals like horses. There is also a pour-on or spot-on liquid used for pigs & cattle, as well as versions for dogs & cats.
If I was going to use it, I'd just use the pour-on. I've spilled it all over myself dozens of times.
I got my Ivermectin paste for horses in a tube it's 1.87% How do I figure out a daily dose for me I weigh 300 ? The tube is 6 grams by weight how do you figure this out teaspoon wise?

The dose rate for humans is usually given as 200 micro-grams per kilogram of body weight. (The same dose rate as for horses.)
The brand of paste that I buy is for a 1250 pound horse. It has markings on the plunger for smaller animals.
Here is a YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AexpeCn08n0&t=3s
Your manufacturer may be different but you will get the idea.
took my first dose of Ivermectin supposed to taste like green apple tastes bitter with a hint of green apple. Haha maybe horses like it but not me. Some mix it with apple juice make it go down easier. doing the day 1 day 3 then once a week for 10 weeks then once every 2 weeks protocol that came out few weeks ago.

This is what I bought for myself and recently for my son, a new medical resident who works with covid-19 patients. I get about 6 doses/tube, which is close to 200mcg/kg for a 200 pound person. Here are about 18 Amazon reviews by people who used the horse paste. I didn't cherry-pick: none of the horse paste consumers had problems with it.
Thanks for info. So are you and son taking this everyday as a preventative for covid19 in case you get it? Or have it handy if you do come down with covid19 then start taking it?
What about HCQ are you taking that too ?

I'm taking it for prophylaxis, i.e. to prevent catching covid-19. I'm high-risk 6 ways and expect to have a bad course of disease, e.g. die, if I catch the virus. I take it twice a week.
My son has just started and hasn't figured out his dosing schedule.
No HCQ for me. I haven't looked into HCQ because I can't buy it, AFAIK.
NB: I'm not a doctor and this isn't medical advice.

What is your reasoning on dosing twice per week rather than every day (at the same weekly mg/kg) to keep the concentration more uniform?
[-] TrumpLyftAlles | 1 points
No reasoning, really. There's no data.
Did you see the post I made yesterday, of prophylaxis schedules from the MD Facebook group? It's all over the map, from daily to one dose every three months, maybe a larger interval than that.
If this sub had 100,000 readers, we could organize a trial.

I hadn't, but there's some interesting stuff in there.
Since virus take one week or more to be active, this option will cure any assymptimaric infection or a developing infection.
This is a good point that makes intermittent dosing make more sense. Maybe 1) side effects are lower if you have some down time between having the drug in your system, 2) there's a critical threshold above which the drug works much better, and 3) so long as you pass this threshold during the week long incubation period, you can squash it equally easy regardless of your current viral load.
Or maybe effectiveness is linear, side effects grow faster than linear, and the most important factor is the level of ivermectin in your system at the moment of first exposure. Too bad we don't have much data.
what about dogs who use it once a month for heart worms? The protection lasts a month
This could tell us more about the mechanism(s) of action, if we can figure out what's going on with dogs being protected for so long. Unless it's just that heart worms have a month long incubation period?

How is harder to get because India banned the export. Ivermectin can be bought from India or in a horse paste.
