Makes me wonder if the high infection rates caused the problem: what if all these dead parasites release some toxic chemical simply by dying and that overwhelms the body's cleaning up ability?

Does not relate to Covid. Purely a helminthic problem. It's exactly why you don't give ivermectin to a dog with adult worms.

thank you. I once read if things work too well, and the kill off is too fast, the body can't handle it. I think some people call it a herxheimer reaction. Maybe they should do a slow kill for parasites, I think I read vets do this if an animal is very parasitic. anyway, valuable lessons for sure.
