Sermo surveys ~1500 MDs around the world. This chart shows the MDs' assessment of the effectiveness and safety of a variety of drugs, including (of course) ivermectin (2020-05-18)[-] TrumpLyftAlles | 3 points
Ivermectin is in the best quarter: safest and most effective, more effective than all the other treatments except gamma gobulin (which is less safe) and infusion of vitamin D (which beats ivermectin on both criteria).
If you search the Sermo home page for "ivemectin" you'll see that ivermectin (IVM) is the
9th most-used treatment, used by 17% of the surveyed MDs, for outpatients with mild symptoms
Used by 8% of MDs for moderate/severe hospitalized patients
Used by 7% of MDs for ICU patients
58% of MDs rate it very or extremely effective (VEE) for outpatients with mild symptoms
48% rate it VEE for patients with moderate/severe patients NOT in the ICU
60% VEE for ICU patients
82% VEE for outpatients with mild symptoms
70% rate IVM as very or extremely SAFE (VES) for moderate/severe patients NOT in the ICU
52% rate it VES for patients IN the ICU
Disappointingly low usage, so far (just wait!). It's cool that it is used across the board, outpatients to the ICU. Weird that its safety isn't 100% across the board. I wonder why.
