discussion: thought ivermectin use in Peru was widespread but these statistics seem disappointing?[-] BuscadorDaVerdade | 1 points

It’s used on certain areas not nationally
yeah that is starting to dawn on me, I thought it was one of the few countries with a nationwide policy so I had looked at it for trends but apparently it's localized like elsewhere

Unfortunately so

.
Peru, the country with the most Ivermectin usage, has almost 1 death per 1000 pop by covid.
yes that's confusing to me but this has been explained to me in that the ivermectin use in Peru is only concentrated in certain cities while covid is still rampant everywhere else
also there seems to be a big problem where they try to use single-dose treatment of ivermectin instead of using it over several days - when I used ivermectin there is no way I was cured after a single dose in a single day, it took several days because it only has a 18 hour half-life

per million people not raw counts, linear not logarithmic so seems like fairest comparison if reported numbers can be trusted (dubious)
