In Rio Preto, the Doctors' Union has already said it does not oppose the use of the medicine. The Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) does not recommend the use of the drug, but authorized the prescription in specific situations, including in mild cases, at the discretion of the doctor and in a decision shared with the patient.
