#The viral post in Bengali, says it is a doctor’s advice. His first card says, “If I get corona, what will I do?”
A post comprising a series of photos of a doctor giving advice on what to do if one contracts COVID-19 is going viral on Facebook.
The doctor advises patients to take paracetamol for fever, zinc tablets, Ivermectin tablets once a day among other things. He goes on to suggest people to not visit a hospital but self treat themselves at home, which could be potentially dangerous.
The viral post, which is in Bengali, says that the photos are a doctor’s advice. His first card says, “If I get corona, what will I do?”
Sardonic observation on not going to the hospital being dangerous:
According to a recent study by Johns Hopkins, more than 250,000 people in the United States die every year because of medical mistakes, making it the third leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer.
I have an ex- who is an MD, her brother and sister are MDs, both her parents were MDs, 3 of her father's brothers were MDs, and 7 of 8 cousins are MDs -- it's the family business. Our son just graduated medical school.
The whole family is terrified of hospitals!
The ex- is an obstetrician. She delivered her sister's 6 babies on her kitchen floor -- because the sister refused to go to the hospital and the kitchen floor was linoleum and and easy to clean up. Her brother had a 106 degree temperature and refused to go to the hospital, insisting that she leave him in the bath tub and keep replenishing the ice. She called the ambulance after he lost consciousness.
Because they know that hospitals are deadly places.
This all happened before MRSA was a thing.
I wonder what the ex- will do if she catches covid19.

I think it's excellent advice (but I'm a fanboy).
