According to the City Hall of Itapemirim, the delivery of medicines will be made exclusively to the two Sentinela units in the city, specifically for patients with symptoms of coronavirus, located in Vila and Itaipava.
Before receiving the kit, the patient undergoes an examination to prove the disease. For this, the city announced the purchase, through bidding, of the rapid tests that will allow testing between 2 to 3 thousand people.
With regard to the kit, the city recalls that the patient has the choice of whether or not to use the drugs and that, if he wishes to receive them, he will sign a term of responsibility and authorization.

The initial forecast, according to Mayor Thiago Peçanha, was that the drugs were already available until the 23rd of last month, however, there was a delay in the purchase of the products.
The city stressed, by means of a note, that it opted to bid for the medicines, as it was safer, more cohesive and transparent. However, he explained, at the opening of the dispute, which occurred on the 25th, he managed to acquire two of the four drugs that make up the kit.
“Due to the need for acquisition, after bidding, we decided to purchase the other two drugs through dispensation. We even got a price quote in the lower amount than we expected in the bidding process ”, said the city hall, in a note.
