Drive Trhu service continues to distribute medicines, following the technical decision of the cooperative doctors. The drugs, Azithromycin, Chloroquine and Ivermectin, are distributed free of charge to Unimed users, in a safe, pharmacologically speaking way. This distribution is not a normal policy of the company and only occurs because, due to the lack of available treatment, many doctors are already prescribing these drugs, causing their lack in the local market.
In order to facilitate user access, the "drive-thru" system was adopted, widely used throughout Brazil, in all spheres, preventing the crowding of people.
The distribution of medicines follows strict rules, complying with all safety and health surveillance protocols. There are doctors and pharmacists involved in the operation and strict prescription control for antimicrobials. The forecast is that the service will continue until the 29th.
