This is good news. The Amit Patel et al paper being retracted was a big downer. This paper does not have a flawed data problem, apparently. Which means that there is value in the news from Peru, Bangladesh, and other places. Even if Ivermectin treats a subset of symptomatic COVID patients and not all, of even if makes other medicines more effective, it is worth studying because it cheap, common and safe.

While everyone here appreciates posts, we also look for value added. TrialSiteNews is great! Would you care to highlight here, some of the bits from the TSN article that you think are particularly relevant?

The Broward result was already posted here. If you go there, you'll see that NewsMax and another news article are posted there, to keep the articles together. I'll move this article to that post, if you don't feel like doing the value-added thing.

A brief summary would be- A team of doctors, pharmacists and health professionals received approval from Broward Health’s Board for a retrospective, cohort study of consecutive patients hospitalized with COVID-19. They recently published the results revealing that ivermectin is associated with lower mortality during treatment of COVID-19, especially in patients who required higher inspired oxygen or ventilatory support. Led by Dr. Jean-Jaque Rajter, the team acknowledges that although the results are based on observational data, the findings should prompt interest in randomized controlled trials to further pursue this economical and widely available anti-parasitic drug as a possible treatment for COVID-19.

Let me know if that's what you're looking for- or something more specific.
