A public manifesto, signed by dozens of doctors working in Paraíba, published this week, defends that mayors and secretaries urgently implement the Covid-19 Early Treatment Protocol, using Hydroxychloroquine + Azithromycin + Ivermectin + Zinc in order to cause the reduction of hospitalizations and deaths from the disease.

The decision even gave rise to a vote of applause presented by councilor Márcio Melo Rodrigues, from Campina Grande. He filed a petition with the City Council proposing Applause Votes to doctors who support the use of Hydroxychloroquine in the early treatment of Covid-19.

Paraiban doctors come through this communiqué to the population of Paraíba to ask the mayors and health secretaries to urgently implement the Covid-19 Early Treatment Protocol, with the drugs in the first 72 hours of symptoms. Early use of Hydroxychloroquine + Azithromycin + Ivermectin + Zinc is effective in reducing hospitalizations and deaths by Covid with reductions in mortality (About 10% to less than 1% of symptomatic patients: flu syndrome, runny nose, cough, diarrhea fever, loss of smell, taste, shortness of breath, chest pain, etc.)

We requested a publicity campaign on social networks to disseminate this information to the population.

We recommend that the Health Departments provide the drugs free of charge to patients who are unable to purchase and, especially, to those who are at greater risk of having Covid Grave (Elderly, cardiac patients, High blood pressure, obesity, asthma, chronic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, cancer, chronic kidney patients, etc.).

No supporting data, unfortunately. Doesn't make it less real, just less persuasive to organizations like the CDC.
