For his part, the head of the Metropolitan Health Region of the Central District, Harry Bock, stated that part of the medications for this treatment are in the basic table, "but they are missing, because we do not have ivermectin, zinc in tablet and we do not have microdacyn" .

Bock indicated that some patients are currently being given "acetaminophen, azithromycin, this microdacyl which comes in a large bottle and zinc when a child."

The Metropolitan Region of the Central District with its emergency budget has made the purchase process, although it takes time.

"When the drug enters the warehouses at the central level, and from Monday they will be distributed from Monday to all health regions," Bock stressed.
