You're a plethora of information about ivermectin! Its roots are humble and its something I stumbled on. When I was dealing with CFS 3 years ago, I had a conversation with another activist. She pointed me to klinghardt, mentioned that all the meds were over the counter, and advised me to read as much as I could. I had nothing to lose. I had fever every single day, I was weak, my legs would fail me when I walked, my arms would have paralysis at times too. I lived in chronic infections as well. So, I ordered it online. I had gone behind my house (someone had tried to break in again) and stood under a tree with tree mites. I was miserable! I read about using it topically for tree mites, was satisfied with what I found, and decided I had nothing to lose. I had used all the energy I had to go outside, it was late, and laying in bed with mites seemed like hell. The next day I felt awful. No itching from the mites, but I felt rough. Later I learned that is common, its a herxheimer reaction. I went ahead and used it again that night (in metered dose according to my 116lbs). I woke the next day after 12 hours of sleep, compared to my normal 20 hours. For the first time, I felt a sense of hope. I added some more remedies, some from a "controversial" scientist (second hand knowledge) and at that point, my fever was still there, but not as high. I had been living with 99.5-101 for over a year. I did another round and woke up after 8 hours without fever. I haven't had the fever come back either. Within a short time, I had gotten over whatever had caused the fever, the despair, the darkness. I started to be able to do things with my (then) youngest daughter. All of her early memories of me are of me sleeping. Anyway, thank you for reading my short novel about ivermectin and how it helped me. I tried so hard to find a doctor to accept me, even being yelled at and told to get out of an office (he was violent). If doctors wouldn't help, all the trips to the ER didn't help, if none of the things I was supposed to do by convention wisdom didn't help, I had nothing to lose. I had already accepted that I would die, because I couldn't keep going as it was. Of course, I will use the disclaimer - none of this is intended to substitute the advice of your doctor (I didn't have one, so....) Look to the CDC for up to date information. This is my personal story and my results may be unique to me, I think I covered the bases? Basically, don't use fish antibiotics or horse ivermectin like I did because its not recommended for human use.
