I don't understand how you can buy this but buying the tablets is prescription only? Also if you buy the 3 pack it's $16.22, or $5.40 per. How much of this would someone have to eat to get a proper and safe dose of Ivermectin? Really seems crazy that you can't just buy the tablets, reminds me of people using antibiotics from fish stores (which actually work btw, amoxicillin).
Also thank you /u/TrumpLyftAlles for doing all this research into Ivermectin.

I don't know much about the subject, but my guess is the regulatory hurdle to get your (human) medicine is costly and perhaps there are only 1 or 2 companies that have jumped through those hoops -- so there's less competition? Pure guesswork.

This guy writes about eating the horse paste to treat his scabies. You'll see links to a page where he lays out the math for dosage and a link to a youtube video where he talks about operating the "syringe" (it's not a syringe) that the paste comes in.

IIRC, someone posted to one of the covid subs that in Brazil it's over-the-counter.
It pisses me off because I wrote a letter with several justifying links to my MD and he still wouldn't prescribe the drug. He's probably afraid that I'll have a bad outcome and then he'll get sued. :(

After we had a covid scare in my home and I found out in PA docs won't prescribe HCQ, Ivermectin, nothin...... So I got myself some horse paste (ivermectin) and fish doxycyclene. While HCQ has been studied more, Ivermectin appears (although less studies) to be even more effective. India has started switching health care workers from HCQ to Ivermectin for prohylaxis.

The apple-flavored horse paste ivermectin on Amazon was around $6 for a long time. I bought it at $7 a month ago. Now it's bouncing between $9 and $10 (today it's $10).
What? If only $4 here!?
