12 minutes long. Illustrates on his whiteboard the mechanism that covid uses to enter the cell and how ivermectin interferes with that.

This (badly type) is how coronavirus enters the nucleus, which causes the nucleus to reduce its antiviral activity.

IMP(alpha)/Beta(1) heterodimer.

Ivermectin prevents the "virus cargo" thing from attaching to the heterodimer, which prevents the cargo from entering the nucleus.

Therefore more antiviral proteins are produced by the cell which reduses the virus's power to spread.

An "observational study" means their looking at existing data instead of some kind of trial. The challenge is controlling for all the possible differences in the ivermectin and control groups.

The table shows that the patients are well-matched. The only attributes on which there were significant differences was coronary heart disease, where the ivermectin group was worse.

GSOFA is a score of how sick people are. The two groups were not significantly different.

There were a lot more on ventilators in the control group -- 68 vs 22.

Endorsement: Well-matched.

This video is about the Surgisphere ivermectin article. I wondered where it was! I kept confusing it with the MedCram video.
